The inspiration behind Pure Wuhan's design is rooted in the city's urban lifestyle. The designers sought to encapsulate the city's night scenery and the diverse activities of its inhabitants. The realization of Pure Wuhan's design involved the use of a bronze frame, metal finished surfaces, and an automatic controlled LED lighting system. The project, a renovation of a 150 square meters old cocktail bar, is located in an old mixed-use complex within a historical tranquil shopping street in Wuhan, China.

The design process was not without its challenges. The designers had to find ways to incorporate decorative elements that would enhance the commercial bar environment. They also had to design a space that would capture the essence of city life within a simple steel framework. Despite these challenges, the designers were able to create a unique space that captures the essence of Wuhan's urban lifestyle.

Pure Wuhan's design was completed in October 2017. The project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018, a testament to its outstanding design and innovation.
